Homecoming tickets are on sale now. You will have two weeks to purchase your tickets online. No tickets will be sold at the door. The cost will be $10 plus a card fee. No outside guests will be allowed other than previous Piqua grads. No junior high students are allowed as this is a high school dance.

The annual Tie-Tying Event is Thursday During Advisory! Learn how to tie a tie from our awesome demonstrators—and keep the tie for HOCO! We’ll also have a Pop-Up Homecoming Boutique just for PHS gentlemen. Need a dress shirt or dress shoes? Stop by and check it out! Come get HOCO ready!

The Piquonian yearbooks are now on sale! Get your yearbook now at the lowest price they will be all year: 55$! This offer lasts until October 16th.

Break out your Pumpkin Spice and everything nice… It’s Fall Fest time! This Friday, October 2nd, the Service Learning class will hold Fall Fest out at the stadium. A Parent Square message will be coming out with details on time, activities and the day’s schedule. Freshman, be sure to ask your Advisory teacher about this event.

Jostens will be meeting with UVCC Seniors on Oct 21st at the UVCC.

FCCLA will be having a meeting today, September 28, during advisory in room 316. All are welcome.

Looking to gain leadership experience, earn community service hours, and make new friends? Join the Interact Club! Our first meeting of the year is Tuesday, September 29th, right after school until 3:00 PM in Mrs. Marsh’s room, Room 230. We’ll be brainstorming service projects and discussing officer positions.

Anyone that is interested in joining Art Club, there will be a meeting in room 500 during Advisory on Tuesday, September 29th.

El club de español meets every 2nd and last Wednesday of the month. Our next meeting is the 30th. We’ll be playing trivia. Snacks are provided!

Attention sophomores: If you are interested in a great opportunity to grow your leadership skills, HOBY might be for you! PHS is looking for three sophomore leaders to attend HOBY. Stop by the guidance office and pick up an essay form from Mrs. Foster.

Any student interested in trying out for basketball cheerleading should report to a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, October 14 in the CPA. The coaches will be there to talk about the upcoming basketball tryouts, including dates and expectations. Please contact the athletic office with additional questions.

Any student that is interested in playing baseball this year should attend a mandatory meeting during advisory on Wednesday in the CPA. Coach Callison will be there to talk about the upcoming fall activities along with other season information.

It was a great weekend for our cross country teams as they competed at the county invitational meet at Milton Union on Saturday. The girls finished in first place as the team had multiple top 25 finishers, including,

Good luck to the girls soccer team as they also head to Springfield tonight for a non conference game. JV to kick off at 530 and varsity to start at 715.
